Description:
Responsible for the integrity of the supply chain process in a designated Sales & Service Office (SSO) where there is a team of Material Handlers that the Coordinator indirectly supervises.
In a SSO where there is only one position to support the Supply Chain Process in that local office, the Coordinator performs the work of the Material Handler for the timely and cost effective ordering of supplies, receipt and stocking of inventory, and shipping of SSO inventory, in addition to the Coordinator's duties and responsibilities described below.
Ensures the security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation using computerized systems (e.g. Oracle and Perpetual Inventory); process and procedure established by company and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines; periodic physical inventories and system review.
Trains SSO personnel and answers questions regarding the required inputs and outputs of the supply chain process. Partners with the local SSO management team (e.g. Sales, Installation and Service) to maximize equipment ordering lead time. Using the customer request date (CRD) ensures that the equipment is ordered and arrives just in time for the customer; or is already stocked in the SSO warehouse.
Daily checks pending receipts and follow-up with vendors to minimize any backorder status.
If vendor is unable to deliver equipment on time per the customer request date (CRD), contacts alternate suppliers of the back ordered products.
Advises the local SSO management team in advance if the CRD will be missed and when the back ordered equipment will become available. Receives inventory at the SSO warehouse within Perpetual Inventory and SOX guidelines.
Ensures that the inventory is properly documented into the appropriate sub-inventory.
Works with shippers and distribution companies to investigate and resolve daily discrepancies.
Takes corrective action so that the same delivery problem does not occur again.
Performs sub-contractor inventory transfers per the Perpetual Inventory guidelines.
On a daily basis, transacts equipment to and from various sub-inventories using Perpetual Inventory functionality assuring that the physical inventory and the booked inventory in the system match. Partners with the local SSO management team to forecast and confirm customer demand.
Ensures that the installation kits and service stock are available for technicians to meet customer demand.
Examines equipment returned from cancelled accounts.
Determines if the equipment should be repaired, replaced under warranty, returned to manufacturers for credit or disposed of within Perpetual Inventory and SOX guidelines.
Prepares for and conducts periodic physical inventories at the SSO warehouse.
Investigates and resolves any discrepancies in the booked inventory to the physical inventory.
Operates and audits the local SSO warehouse daily in accordance with Perpetual Inventory, Safety and SOX guidelines. Ensures that the local SSO warehouse is a safe, organized, and secure facility.
Takes immediate corrective action as necessary to regain compliance when defaults are found.
Generates standard reports through the Perpetual Inventory system to audit and analyze inventory for any trends and/or variances.
Ability to lift and move 20 lbs. Ability to climb a ladder.

Requirements:

H.S. Diploma; College degree preferred
Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
Working knowledge of perpetual inventory management system.
Attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate warehouse related equipment.
Valid driver's license.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
