JOB DESCRIPTION-Registered Nurse - Intensive Care UnitRN-ICUFull-Time (Night Shifts)Registered Nurse candidates for the Intensive Care Unit will have the following job
Responsibilities:
The RN, ICU, will independently develop and implement nursing care plans for patients; Provide nursing care treatment and educational services; May assign and direct the work of lower level registered nurses and nursing assistants; May serve as a charge nurse on an assigned shift, and perform other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse (RN) position will be compassionate, caring and experienced in developing/implementing the plan of care for each patient, making recommendations for patient interventions, and collaborating with other health care providers to deliver care and document outcomes.
The successful candidate must promote safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-Registered Nurse - Intensive Care UnitRN-ICUFull-Time (Night Shift)Registered Nurse candidates for the Intensive Care Unit must meet the following minimum job
Qualifications:
Candidates must have successfully completed an accredite RN program.
Must have an RN license in the State of South Carolina, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one.
Must have BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association approved courses.
Candidates with unit specific certifications preferred.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working in an Acute Care hospital.
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Receptive Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
