Overview In this newly created, high-visibility, and career changing role, the Principal HR Business Partner for Strategic Workforce Planning leads all workforce planning initiatives for our corporate teams nationally. This is the central resource responsible for connecting KinderCare's business strategy to the talent needs of our company, from the Executive level, to the front-lines. This position is best served by someone with a proven track record of assessing current workforce skills, forecasting long-term needs, and driving the plans to close any gaps. Outcomes may encompass a wide range from workforce size, structure, skill development needs, hiring forecasts, and cost model projections. Success in this role at KinderCare will come from someone who can fly high in strategic thinking but also dive deep into transformational initiatives. This role will be the primary HR Business Partner supporting current and future transformational initiatives, working with functional HRBPs to align current organization talent needs to these projects and programs. Approaching work from a place of curiosity, understanding how and why things get done, and looking for improvements aligned to business and HR strategy is critical. This is a role that needs a light-hearted sense of humor and builds upon the amazing culture that's already in place, with a strategic talent plan. Areas of Focus - Understanding business strategy, the impact of emerging technology, market shifts, and workforce changes to ensure the right mix of talent, technology, and employment models to reach our goals - Work with key stakeholders across HR and Leadership teams to translate strategy into a workforce plan that ensures we reach our business goals - Anticipate and define current and future talent needs of KinderCare, assess readiness, and work with HRBPs to establish strategies to shape future talent investments and support succession planning - Leverage internal and external data, trends, analytics, and insights to assess local talent gaps tied to future organization capabilities - working in tandem with internal analytics team and HRBPs - Validate findings and design solutions with stakeholders including Finance, Strategy, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Investment & Culture/Change Management teams - Dive deep into current transformational initiatives as the key HR business partner supporting cross-functional leaders - Influence the evolving career pathing model to organization succession - Build and influence leadership capability across all levels of company Qualification:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a strategic HR Business Partner with an expertise in organizational behavior, change management, business planning, and communication - 3
years with strategic workforce planning focus at an enterprise level - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Proven agility when working in fast-paced environments and with ambiguity - Successful experience leading/influencing organizational design and change - A strong business acumen with extensive knowledge of the business/market trends, competition, company policies/procedures and the ability to be a culture keeper - Proven strategic agility and thinking, knowing how the organization can perform and win, can initiate and operationalize competitive HR strategies and plans linked to the business strategy - Ability to build partnerships with leaders at all levels - Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time - Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, follow-through, and plan ahead - Excellent interpersonal skills
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
